Your first stop is the breathtaking Peleș Castle, a fairytale palace nestled among forested peaks. Built for Romania’s first king, this Neo-Renaissance masterpiece is as innovative as it is beautiful — famously known as the first castle in the world to be fully powered by electricity. Inside, ornate halls and richly detailed interiors reveal a world of royal elegance, far removed from the shadows that await.
We pause for lunch at Restaurant Alex, where you’ll enjoy hearty Transylvanian dishes. Local tradition suggests garlic as protection against darker forces… and today, you may want to take that seriously.
As the journey continues, you’ll step into a place where modern pop culture meets centuries-old mystery at Cantacuzino Castle — known to many as the filming location for Nevermore Academy in Wednesday. Beyond its cinematic fame, the castle carries a far more unsettling reputation. Visitors have reported strange figures appearing in photographs, and the powerful family who once lived here is surrounded by stories of tragedy and unexplained deaths.

After a slow and well-earned morning, your journey continues into the heart of Transylvania’s medieval past.
In Brașov, you’ll walk through more than 800 years of living history — a former Saxon trading outpost surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Carpathians. Its cobbled streets and colorful facades feel almost untouched by time… but as always in Romania, there’s more beneath the surface.
You’ll wander through some of the narrowest passageways in Europe, including the famous Strada Sforii, where the walls seem to close in with every step. At the imposing Black Church, you’ll uncover a pivotal chapter in the region’s religious history — a place marked by fire, transformation, and enduring mystery.
And woven into it all is the story of Vlad the Impaler — not just the figure of fear and legend, but a man whose life was shaped by power, passion, and rebellion. Here, even his more human stories begin to surface.

Welcome to Sighișoara, one of the most beautifully preserved medieval citadels in the world and a designated UNESCO treasure. Within its ancient walls, time seems to stand still. It is here that Vlad the Impaler was born — the man whose legacy would echo across the world as the inspiration for Count Dracula.

- Within 91–119 days prior to Tour Start Date: You will forfeit the 20% non-refundable booking commitment amount plus 50% of the remaining balance. Any remaining eligible balance paid will be refunded.
- Within 61–90 days prior to Tour Start Date: You will forfeit the 20% non-refundable booking commitment amount plus 75% of the remaining balance. Any remaining eligible balance paid will be refunded.
