Your second day, Bucharest reveals its dual nature — elegant by daylight, and quietly haunted beneath the surface.
We begin with a guided walk through the heart of Bucharest, wandering its narrow Old Town streets and eclectic neighborhoods. Once known as “Little Paris,” the city’s architecture and atmosphere still echo with that refined past. But beyond the beauty lies something far more unsettling.
As you explore, you’ll uncover the darker stories woven into the city’s foundations — from a haunted orphanage to a hospital shadowed by disturbing rumors, to a casino where some say the spirits of former players still linger long after the final hand has been dealt.

This morning, you leave the capital behind and journey deep into the Carpathian Mountains — where Romania begins to feel like something out of legend.
Your first stop is the breathtaking Peleș Castle, a fairytale palace nestled among forested peaks. Built for Romania’s first king, this Neo-Renaissance masterpiece is as innovative as it is beautiful — famously known as the first castle in the world to be fully powered by electricity. Inside, ornate halls and richly detailed interiors reveal a world of royal elegance, far removed from the shadows that await.

In Brașov, you’ll walk through more than 800 years of living history — a former Saxon trading outpost surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Carpathians. Its cobbled streets and colorful facades feel almost untouched by time… but as always in Romania, there’s more beneath the surface.
You’ll wander through some of the narrowest passageways in Europe, including the famous Strada Sforii, where the walls seem to close in with every step.
