DAY 1: May 13th, 2027

Welcome to Vernal – Ancient Symbols and the First Signal
The journey begins at noon as you gather in Vernal and meet your expedition leader, James Keenan. Surrounded by the vast and mysterious landscape of the Uinta Basin, James will introduce you to the stories, theories, and unexplained phenomena that have made this region legendary.
From there, we travel into the remote reaches of Dinosaur National Monument, where ancient Fremont figures remain carved into the stone at McKee Springs. Some appear human. Others seem strangely unfamiliar. Standing before these weathered images, James will explore what archaeology tells us—and why these symbols continue to inspire theories of ritual beings, visitors, and forces that may have shaped the region’s oldest stories.
After taking in the sweeping Green River overlook, we return to Vernal for a warm welcome dinner at Swain Brothers Steakhouse. It is a chance to meet your fellow travelers, share what drew you to Skinwalker Country, and prepare for the first night beneath the Utah sky.
After dark, we venture into the open terrain of McCoy Flats for our first guided skywatch. Away from city lights, the desert becomes quiet, expansive, and intensely alive. James will teach the group how to distinguish satellites and aircraft from truly unusual movement, while we scan the horizon, monitor the surroundings, and wait to see whether the Basin chooses to reveal its first mystery.
PLEASE NOTE: Itineraries are subject to slight change depending on availability or weather & travel conditions
DAY 2: May 14th, 2027

At the Edge of Skinwalker Ranch
The day begins at McConkie Ranch, where enormous figures, masked forms, and enigmatic symbols rise from the red cliffs. These ancient images have watched over the land for centuries, and their meaning remains one of the Uinta Basin’s most compelling unanswered questions. As we walk among them, James will share archaeological interpretations, local lore, and the modern theories that have linked these strange forms to supernatural beings and visitors from beyond.
After lunch and time to prepare for the evening ahead, we travel deeper into Skinwalker Country.
A stop near the entrance to Skinwalker Ranch provides a rare opportunity to stand at the gateway to the property that has become synonymous with UFO reports, unusual creatures, strange lights, and decades of investigation. Yet the mystery does not end at the ranch boundary. Reports of unexplained activity have spread throughout the surrounding land, valleys, waterways, and neighboring properties.
Our evening continues with a private experience at Space Wolf Research, located within the wider Skinwalker Ranch environment. Here, we remain from daylight through sunset and into darkness, allowing time to understand the land before beginning our fieldwork.
Working alongside James and the property researchers, guests may take part in environmental monitoring, audio sessions, thermal observation, cryptid exploration, phantom investigation, and a focused UAP skywatch. As darkness settles and familiar landmarks disappear, every movement, sound, and light takes on new significance.
This is not a quick visit. It is an extended encounter with the atmosphere and mystery of Skinwalker Country—at the very edge of one of the most closely watched landscapes in the world.
PLEASE NOTE: Itineraries are subject to slight change depending on availability or weather & travel conditions
DAY 3: May 15th, 2027

Beneath the Legend, Beneath the Stars
Before we return to the unexplained, we begin the day by examining the ancient forces that created the Uinta Basin itself. At the Utah Field House of Natural History, fossils, geology, and prehistoric life reveal a world that existed long before human beings began telling stories about the strange things seen in these valleys.
The museum provides an important foundation for the journey. James will explore how geology, underground formations, mineral deposits, atmospheric conditions, and ancient history may influence—or complicate—the investigation of unusual phenomena.
Later, subject to tribal permission and access, we travel toward Bottle Hollow Reservoir and the cultural landscape of the Ute Nation. The reservoir and surrounding terrain have long been connected to reports of unexplained lights, strange sounds, and unusual experiences. This visit will be approached with respect for the Ute people, their sovereign land, and the living traditions of the region.
As evening approaches, we make our way to the Skinwalker Ridge UFO Campground for the tour’s principal nighttime investigation.
We arrive before sunset to study the landscape, identify the surrounding ridgelines, and prepare our observation stations. Then, as daylight fades, the group divides into rotating investigation teams. Some will scan the skies using night vision and thermal equipment. Others will monitor the ground, listen for unexplained sounds, or conduct controlled audio and environmental experiments.
Above us stretches the vast Utah sky. Around us lies a landscape known for unusual aerial movement, cryptid reports, mysterious sounds, and encounters that resist easy explanation.
For several hours, we watch, listen, record, and wait beneath the stars—immersed in the silence and uncertainty of Skinwalker Country after dark.
PLEASE NOTE: Itineraries are subject to slight change depending on availability or weather & travel conditions
DAY 4: May 16th, 2027

Into Blind Frog Country
Today, we leave the familiar roads behind.
Traveling in smaller, high-clearance vehicles, we journey toward the rugged Uinta Mountains and the remote borderlands associated with Mysteries of Blind Frog Ranch. This is a landscape of caves, sinkholes, hidden waterways, geological anomalies, and stories of unexplained activity—terrain too remote and unpredictable for an ordinary sightseeing tour.
With James and an experienced local backcountry guide leading the way, the day’s route will be determined by weather, road conditions, and access. That uncertainty is part of the adventure. We may explore public BLM land near the Blind Frog Ranch region, investigate unusual geological formations, visit reported UAP observation points, or venture toward areas connected with cryptid encounters and unexplained activity.
Along the way, James will share insight from his current research and filming work connected with Mysteries of Blind Frog Ranch. He will examine the stories surrounding underground chambers, strange energy readings, unusual lights, hidden structures, and the possibility that the mysteries of the Uinta Basin extend far beneath the surface.
This is where geology, folklore, science, and speculation meet.
We pause for an expedition lunch in the field, surrounded by the wild terrain of the Uinta Mountains. There will be time to observe, photograph, investigate, and absorb the isolation of a place where many questions remain unanswered.
After returning to Vernal, we gather for a relaxed expedition dinner and evidence discussion. Together, we will compare observations from the previous nights, revisit unusual recordings or images, and consider which experiences may have ordinary explanations—and which continue to defy them.
PLEASE NOTE: Itineraries are subject to slight change depending on availability or weather & travel conditions
DAY 5: May 17, 2027

The Bones, the Symbols & What Remains
Our final morning takes us back through deep time.
At Dinosaur National Monument’s extraordinary Quarry Exhibit Hall, approximately 1,500 dinosaur bones remain embedded within the rock. Standing before this ancient wall of fossils, we are reminded that the unbelievable does not always remain unbelievable. Creatures once beyond imagination are now preserved before us as undeniable evidence of a world that vanished millions of years ago.
From the fossil wall, we continue to one final ancient rock-art site. The carved and painted symbols bring the journey full circle, returning us to the mysterious figures and messages left behind by the people who once inhabited this land.
What did they see? What did they believe? And why do some of their images still feel so strangely familiar to those who study the modern stories of the Uinta Basin?
Our expedition concludes with a celebratory farewell lunch alongside James and your fellow travelers. Together, we will reflect on the lights we watched, the sounds we recorded, the places we entered, and the moments that challenged our understanding of what may be possible.
Some experiences may leave us with answers.
Others may leave us with better questions.
And some may follow us long after we leave Skinwalker Country behind.
