Be welcomed into Cusco with an Andean Blessing Ceremony

On our first day, we welcome you, with incredible cultural flare, to your incredible journey. Upon your arrival at the Alejandro Velasco Astete Cusco International Airport, a member of our team will be there to extend a warm welcome and assist you with a comfortable transfer to your hotel.

When you first arrive, you will need some time to settle in and acclimate to the enchanting altitude of Cusco.

Later in the day, you'll have the pleasure of joining and meeting the rest of our travelers at a debriefing meeting.  Led by our knowledgeable local guide, we will engage in a friendly discussion about the exciting schedule for the days ahead. We wish to be certain that you have all the information you need for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
This is when it becomes special, a gathering you have probably never been a part of. To initiate your transformative and healing journey, our guide will also guide you through an enchanting Andean Blessing Ceremony. Cusco: Delve into the Enchantment of Ancestral Rituals

Your first full day of authentic Andean culture and ancient traditions starts today! Three sacred ceremonies await your arrival, each conducted by Q’ero Nation shamans, masters in diverse realms of healing. These ceremonies include the transformative Flower Cleansing Ceremony, a profound Coca Leaf Reading Ceremony, and a sacred Offering to Pachamama, the Earth Mother.

These ancient shamanic rituals have their roots in the pre-Inca era, entwined with the rich tapestry of Quechua culture.

Guided by an authentic Andean shaman, this immersive experience will unveil new dimensions of existence, nurturing your physical and spiritual self. Amidst this enchantment, a nourishing organic picnic awaits, nourishing body and spirit alike.

As the day unfolds, we will venture into the heart of Cusco, a city steeped in the mystique of ages past. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cusco exudes a unique essence that whispers of bygone eras.

Our exploration commences at the revered Koricancha temple, once the opulent palace and spiritual epicenter of the Sun God, now graced by the presence of a Dominican church, a testament to the harmonious blend of cultures.

From there, our odyssey leads to the Plaza de Armas, where the grandeur of the Cathedral and the exquisite Church of the Society of Jesus, along with colonial treasures, beckon.

Stroll through the labyrinthine streets of the San Blas neighborhood, a realm of quaint homes, artisanal galleries, and craft workshops, where the artistry of local artisans comes to life before your very eyes.

DAY 3: July 19, 2024

Cusco: Mysteries of Shamanic Wisdom and the Power of the Coca Leaf

Today, you shall encounter the revered Shamanic healer, a Master of the Q’ero tradition, as you enter into an odyssey that delves deep into the profound healing arts of the Andean and Amazonian traditions. Together we will be entwined with the sacred ceremonies of this mystical land, with the knowledge of a shaman, we will travel to a serene natural enclave, where breathtaking vistas of Cusco unfold before you.

This initial lesson is a gateway to the world of Shamanism, an introduction to the ancient rites and rituals that have guided this land for generations.

Within this sacred space, you will unravel the secrets of the Coca Leaf Ceremony, discovering its profound purpose and the symbolic language it whispers to those who seek its wisdom. The Shamanic healer shall illuminate the path to understanding the mystical messages encoded within the sacred Coca Leaf, allowing you to embark on your own oracle readings.

As the day unfolds, we will take you into the enigmatic archaeological wonders of Qenko, Puca Pucara, and the royal baths of Tambomachay.

Then, we will ascend to the formidable fortress of Sacsayhuaman, where mysteries abound. Here, the massive walls of hewn stone stand as sentinels of time, their impossible construction and impeccable precision whispering of ancient wisdom that defies modern understanding.

The greatest wonder of Sacsayhuaman lies in the three zig-zag walls that shield the citadel, crafted from rocks exceeding a hundred tons in weight, some towering nine meters high.

Their alignment, a testament to a level of accuracy unattainable by known hand tools, fuels the wonder of their creation. Beneath the fortress, the labyrinthine underground tunnels known as chinkanas beckon, built by an ancient civilization whose identity and intent remain veiled in time. Legends speak of treasures concealed within, weaving a tapestry of intrigue that has captivated generations.
Though most entrances to these tunnels have been sealed shut since the 1920s, a solitary passage, Chinkana chica, endures, binding two known areas of the ancient citadel, inviting those who dare to explore its depths into the heart of the unknown.

In the morning we will guide you to a secluded sanctuary near Cusco, a place where the mystical becomes tangible. Here, you will immerse yourself in the profound mystique of the Sacred Altar of the Paqos, a revered relic of timeless significance, a key to the realm of ancestral ceremonies.

Under the sage tutelage of the shaman, you will embark on a journey through the sacred compass of the world's four directions.

This spiritual odyssey will unveil the secrets held within each cardinal point, unraveling the tapestry of existence itself. The shaman will then invite your questions for insight into the Andean Culture, Shamanic wisdom, and more.

DAY 7: July 23, 2024

Sacred Valley: Awanacancha, Pisac Market, and the Mystical Pisac Ruins

Today you will descend into the Sacred Valley, where the ethereal mingles with the earthly at 8,200 feet above sea level. Here, in the heart of the Urubamba Valley, a serene haven nestled amidst the Andean peaks, the ancient and the contemporary seamlessly coexist. The valley, blessed with a temperate climate, cradles ancient ruins, undulating mountain slopes, and picturesque farming hamlets.

Our first experience is at the Awanacancha Interpretation Center, a sacred sanctuary of textiles and South American camelids.

Here, amidst the exquisite display of vicuñas, alpacas, llamas, and guanacos, the ancestral and the modern converge. Witness the artistry that emerges from their fibers, an alchemical fusion of traditional and contemporary techniques. This living museum breathes life into the communities that tend to these mystical creatures, weaving a tapestry of shared prosperity.

Continuing our odyssey, we ascend to Pisac, a sanctuary of archaeological wonders, perched upon the lofty mountain peak.

This sacred site, imbued with meticulous terraced hillsides and harmonious urban planning, beckons us to explore its ancient secrets.

DAY 8: July 24, 2024

Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo Fortress, and Mystical Machu Picchu

Our day commences with a journey into the mystical heart of the Inca world, to the enigmatic Inca agricultural research center of Moray. This place holds many secrets of ancient wisdom. Here, circular agricultural terraces, known as 'muyus,' were meticulously excavated from the land, creating a sacred landscape of diverse microclimates. Within this hallowed ground, the Incas nurtured over 250 plant species, fostering a profound connection between earth and sky.

Our pilgrimage continues to the unassuming village of Maras, a keeper of priceless treasures, the renowned Maras salt.

Here, the land unveils an awe-inspiring spectacle—a mosaic of hundreds of pure white salt pools, a sacred canvas for the alchemy of nature. Local artisans craft an array of offerings from this precious salt, even chocolates imbued with its mystical essence.

As the sun reaches its zenith, our journey leads to Ollantaytambo, an ancient fortress that reaches towards the heavens, an embodiment of military might, spiritual sanctity, and agricultural abundance.

This place, believed to be a sanctuary for Inca royalty, dazzles with its soaring platforms and immaculate stone carvings—a testament to the Inca's mastery of engineering.

DAY 9- July 25, 2024

Dawn in Machu Picchu: The Sacred Citadel is Unveiled

Today we rise to see the majesty of Machu Picchu, often whispered as the 'Lost City' of the Incas. Nestled at an awe-inspiring altitude of 8,200 feet, this extraordinary archaeological marvel lies ensconced within remote mountains, shrouded by the veils of a semi-tropical jungle. For nearly four centuries, its enigmatic splendor remained concealed, a secret realm known only to nature, until the fateful moment when Hiram Bingham of Yale University unveiled its mystical aura in 1911.

Our adventure commences with a minibus ascent that defies both gravity and belief, spiraling towards the ancient citadel, where temples, altars, and more than 200 ethereal structures await our exploration.

Perched atop a forested hill, gazing upon the meandering Urubamba River, Machu Picchu lay veiled beneath nature's verdant cloak until Hiram Bingham's revelation.

Today, Machu Picchu stands resurrected, restored to its former glory, albeit with whispers of its long-held secrets.

The tour will lead us through sacred temples, enigmatic plazas, regal palaces, flowing watercourses, and the remnants of a once-thriving residential enclave. As we stand on this hallowed ground, we'll witness the ethereal sunrise painting the citadel with its golden embrace.

Our journey continues with a sumptuous lunch at Sanctuary Lodge, rejuvenating our spirits for the return. In the afternoon, we'll embark on a train ride back to Cusco, a voyage that retraces the footsteps of the ancients.

Tonight, we shall gather at Tunupa Restaurant, a sanctuary of novo-Andean flavors, offering panoramic vistas of Cusco's enchanting Town Square. Now living in St. Petersburg, Florida, he is a well-respected Psychic Medium, celebrated for decades as one of Cincinnati's most trusted practitioners. Adding to his accomplishments, Victor was voted as the city's Best Psychic by Cincinnati Magazine for his "mysteriously accurate and compelling readings." His psychic abilities include clairvoyance, mediumship (communicating with those in spirit), psychometry (reading objects), and reading tarot, photos, buildings, and places. He is also an animal communicator and paranormal investigator. He founded Cincinnati’s Victory of Light Expo in 1992 and was its Executive Director until 2021.
