This will make sure that the arrival and departure times work well with the given itinerary.
- A Social Media (Facebook) Private Group Page: Communication is vital to share updates, ideas, notifications, and many other important segments in preparing for such an important experience. Facebook is the best place to do this, and it will be private only to our tour group. As we proceed to our destination, we will use a Chat Group that is pulled from this group to keep organized and well communicate with each other.

Acceptance: By submitting a booking form and paying a deposit, and “checking off” the acceptance option on our checkout payment page, for yourself or the travel partner you are looking for you accept all of the terms in this agreement and direct us to perform services on your and any Travel Partner’s behalf.

As written in our Terms & Conditions, please note the following Cancellation Policies:
It is considered upon meeting the following standards and penalties: The collected deposit is not refundable at any time. The balance due for the tour (and options) is subject to the following penalties, after the deposit is removed from the obligation.
- Within 150+ days prior to Tour Start Date: You will be penalized Deposit Only
Deadline Date: January 25, 2026 - Within 120-149 days prior to Tour Start Date: You will be penalized 25% of the complete tour package (and options) costs after the deposit is deducted.
Deadline Date: February 24, 2026 - Within 91-119 days prior to Tour Start Date: You will be penalized 50% of the complete tour package (and options) costs after the deposit is deducted.
Deadline Date: March 25, 2026 - Within 61-90 days prior to Tour Start Date: You will be penalized 75% of the complete tour package (and options) costs after the deposit is deducted.

Welcome to Bucharest — Where Ghost Stories Begin
Your haunted journey through Romania begins in Bucharest, a city where every cobblestone whispers secrets of the past.
After landing, a private driver will be waiting to escort you to Hotel Cișmigiu — a Belle Époque landmark with a chilling history. Originally built before World War I, the building was abandoned and left in ruins by the 1970s. When it later became housing for theater students, reports of paranormal activity began to surface. Today, fully restored, the hotel’s grandeur still holds a haunted charm.
Later that evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a cozy debriefing session and a delicious welcome dinner at Vatra Restaurant, known for its authentic Romanian cuisine and warm, rustic atmosphere. As the night unfolds, your guides will walk you through the spellbinding days ahead.

DAY 2- 🧭 October 28th, 2025
Haunted Bucharest & the Ritual of the Witches’ Pond
Today, you dive deep into Bucharest’s dark history.
Wander through the Old Town’s winding streets, where ghost stories lurk around every corner. You’ll hear tales of a haunted orphanage, a hospital once rumored for organ harvesting, and a cursed casino where players are said to still roam in death.
Your journey continues with lunch at Manuc’s Inn, the oldest functioning restaurant in Bucharest — a place where history lives in every stone and flavor.
In the afternoon, the group ventures beyond the city to the mysterious Witches’ Pond. This secluded, energy-rich forest site has long been a gathering place for witches from across Romania and beyond. It’s said that any spell cast here is guaranteed to work… but only if you offer something in return.
You’ll participate in a once-in-a-lifetime ritual in this sacred space — one steeped in folklore, intention, and ancient power. Return to Hotel Cișmigiu as dusk falls, your mind still buzzing with the day’s magic.
DAY 3- 🧭 October 29th, 2025
The Trail of Vlad — Monasteries, Spirits & the Castle of Nevermore
Leaving Bucharest behind, your path winds through the misty countryside to Snagov Monastery — the reputed burial site of Vlad the Impaler. Located on a tiny island, this fortress church is where legends say Dracula’s story may have truly ended… or perhaps just begun.
From there, travel to Câmpina to visit the eerie Iulia Hasdeu Castle. Built by a grieving father who claimed to communicate with his deceased daughter through séances, the site is now known for ghostly apparitions and unexplained phenomena.
Lunch is served in regal style at the Cantacuzino Castle’s restaurant, where Belle Époque elegance meets mountain mystique.
And then — for fans of the macabre and the modern — explore Cantacuzino Castle itself, famously used as “Nevermore Academy” in the Netflix series Wednesday. This hauntingly beautiful estate has a long history of mysterious deaths and unsettling energy.
Finally, you arrive in Sinaia, a charming mountain town where you’ll check into Hotel Sinaia. Once a healing retreat built by monks, the hotel’s silent corridors seem to hum with unseen memories. Tonight, rest under the shadow of the Bucegi Mountains — tomorrow, royalty and vampires await.

Begin your day at Peleș Castle, a fairytale royal residence tucked into the Carpathian Mountains. Built in a stunning Neo-Renaissance style for Romania’s first king, Peleș was the world’s first castle fully powered by electricity. As you wander its lavish halls and secret passages, you’ll feel the echo of royal whispers from a bygone age.

Dacre Stoker
Dacre Stoker is the internationally best-selling co-author of Dracula the Un-Dead (2009) and Dracul (2018), and the great-grandnephew of legendary Dracula author Bram Stoker. As the literary guardian of the Stoker legacy, Dacre has devoted his life to exploring, preserving, and expanding upon the world his ancestor created.
A native of Montreal, Dacre’s career is as dynamic as the stories he tells. A former Olympic-level athlete and coach in the Modern Pentathlon for Team Canada, he brings the same passion and discipline to his literary and historical work. He is also the co-editor of The Lost Journal of Bram Stoker: The Dublin Years (2012), offering rare insight into the mind of the iconic writer.
Dacre has served as a historical consultant and appeared in numerous international documentaries and television specials exploring the vampire myth in literature and pop culture, including The Real Vampire Files (History Channel), Secrets of the Dead (PBS), Mysteries at the Museum (Travel Channel), Legend Hunter (Travel Channel), and American Vampires (Fox Nation).

Since I was a kid I loved to explore new places and go off the beaten path. I liked showing my friends the lucky finds and enjoying them together. No wonder I decided to study tourism and got an MSC in it. Although I imagined I’d be climbing the career ladder, after working in sales for a start-up company I realized that I wanted to work for myself. In 2015 I quit my office job for a sabbatical journey that re-opened my eyes to my biggest passions: travel & hospitality. Traveling was what united us, so we started planning our adventure around the world, while I was working on my dream job as an independent tour guide in Bucharest. After meeting so many people with Romanian roots who wanted to visit their ancestral country, I figured that others would like to explore this hidden gem of Europe.
